Pyron is a single plug-in file. You just drop it into the After Effects plug-ins folder — no lengthy setup. Works with After Effects 2021 & later. Make sure you have Pyron.aex from your download.
Make sure After Effects is fully closed before you start — otherwise the plug-in file can't be added.
Open File Explorer and paste one of these paths into the address bar, then press Enter.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\7.0\MediaCore\
Installs Pyron for every After Effects version on your PC — including future ones.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe After Effects [your version]\Support Files\Plug-ins\
Replace [your version] with your AE version — for example 2026 or 2021.
Drag Pyron.aex into that folder (or copy & paste it).
Windows will ask for administrator permission to copy here — click Continue. This is completely normal: it's a protected system folder, not a security warning.
Tip: If the file seems blocked, right-click Pyron.aex → Properties, tick Unblock (if you see it), click OK, then copy it again.
Launch After Effects, apply the Pyron effect to any layer, then in the Effect Controls panel click Options and enter your license key. The watermark disappears — you're on the full version.
